Lexus NX with Modellista package. Tuning a new SUV. 4,5 hours is enough

As soon as a new Lexus arrives in showrooms, Japanese tuners rub their hands and immediately start working on modification packages. The new Lexus NX was no exception, which received a set of additions from the well-known tuner Modellista. What is included in the Modellista Advanced Luxury Package designed for the new Japanese SUV?

The Japanese tuners will not forgive any model, and among the noteworthy novelties was, among others, a package of visual improvements specifically for the new Lexus NX. Renowned brand Modellista has begun developing the Advanced Luxury package, which includes additions and moldings to make the Lexus NX even more distinctive.

The package is quite thin.

Buyers who want to personalize their Lexus NX with parts from tuning packages don't have to go all out with crazy fender flares or 22-inch wheels mounted on spacers. The Lexus NX with the Modellista package looks neat and the visual modifications don't seem over the top. On the tuner's website, we can see what the Advanced Luxury Package looks like on the new generation Lexus NX in white and black.

What is included?

The list of parts is not large. Customers choosing the full package will receive a front bumper spoiler, side skirts, a rear bumper extension and a chrome aero link between spoiler and tailgate. For this configuration, Modellista offers 20-inch rims that are in harmony with the above-mentioned details. The individual trims and spoilers included in the package not only fit together well, but are also designed to match the style of the new Lexus NX.

Tuned drive Lexus NX

The Advanced Luxury package does not make any other changes. This means that components such as the engine, the suspension or braking system remained 100 percent stock. That's not bad news - the Lexus shown in the photos is the NX 450h+. The plug-in hybrid has a power of 309 hp, and it accelerates to a hundred in 6,3 seconds. On electricity alone, we can travel at speeds of 135 km/h, and the range on a fully charged battery can reach up to 98 km in the city and up to 68 km in the combined cycle. Engineers have also done a lot of work on the chassis of the Lexus NX to make handling even better than the previous generation.

How much does such a package cost?

Japanese buyers can order a modification package in two versions - painted or prepared for painting. The entire set of parts described (not including wheels, which are sold separately) costs 261 yen without paint and 800 yen when painted in one of two colors - Sonic Quartz or Graphite Black Glass Flake. These amounts are translated into Polish currency, respectively, PLN 294 and PLN 800. The price is not prohibitive, and those who wish to buy a package will definitely find themselves in the Land of the Rising Sun. Importantly, a set of parts can be purchased from Lexus dealers, and assembly takes place at an authorized service station. The tuner even tells you when the kit needs to be installed. If you believe the price list (and in terms of punctuality, you can trust the Japanese), NX gets new clothes in just over 9 hours.
