Lexus UX in full... selfie. How is this possible?
The look of the Lexus UX has served as a canvas for many artists. After all, there was already a version covered in tattoos and plastered with thousands of paper flakes. This time, Nathan Wyburn, an artist from Wales, is responsible for the art installation, who covered the body of the car with an interesting collage.
There is only one such Lexus UX in the world. An art installation of thousands of photographs adorns the exterior of the compact SUV, and the vehicle featured was unveiled at the Cardiff Life Awards. This is the final of the competition, during which the most interesting projects and initiatives associated with the capital of Wales are selected and awarded. The creator of the veneer found on the body of the Lexus UX is Nathan Wyburn, a pop-culture artist who is associated with the city and often uses unusual materials and objects in his work. The implementation of this project would not have been possible if the people of Cardiff had not sent their photos. The collage made of them depicts famous places on the map of the city, such as the Principality Stadium, the Golden Cross Pub, Roath Park and the Wales Millennium Center. The photos were on the doors and on the hood of the Lexus UX, whose body panels were the canvas for this project. The design of the car is in harmony with the art installation, and the crossover stands out very much.
According to Nathan Viburna, the project is "a celebration of the amazing city" that is Cardiff. Residents of the Welsh capital can see what the Lexus UX looks like in thousands of selfies as the car is on display in various areas of the city.
