Personal experience of operating Lada Largus for a month away
After I bought myself a Lada Largus, almost a month has passed. In honor of this significant event, I decided to write my own review, or the so-called report on the operation of the car. I want to tell and share my impressions about the car, bring all the advantages and disadvantages of Lada Largus, based only on personal experience, and no fairy tales.
During this time, my car ran not so little 2500 km, and what can I say about fuel consumption: at first, of course, it was not very pleasant, even on the highway at an average speed of 110 km / h it reached 10 l / 100 km. But with each new kilometer, the consumption gradually began to decrease and approach the mark of 7,5 liters per hundred. But in the city now the engine began to eat only 11,5 liters, but this is not a minimum, because before full running-in, at least 10 thousand more need to go through so that all the engine parts are finally worn down and worked in. I think that after a while we will keep within 10 liters - no more.
Of course, although the engine produces 105 horsepower, you always want more, especially since the mass of the car is no longer the same as that of the same Kalin and Prior. You also need to add at least 25-30 horses, then there will be no complaints about engine power. And it was possible to use even less gasoline, after all, the engine volume is small, only 1,6 liters - and a car eats an average of 9 liters, it will be too much.
Naturally, there are simply no competitors to Lada Largus in this price category. If we compare station wagons from Kalina or Priora, then they clearly lose, since the capacity of the trunk is much less, and their build quality is much lower than that of a seven-seater station wagon. So there are no such machines yet, so that you can compare them and choose something more suitable, so you have to be content with what we have.
As for the dynamics, at first from the first kilometers everything was rather sad, reluctantly gaining momentum, but now the motor accelerates well even uphill in fifth gear, apparently the running-in makes itself felt. But the flaws of the engineers are also present here: a short circuit to the ground of the starter of the retractor relay. The lid on the washer barrel is also inconveniently made, it is tied on a thin plastic rope - it is inconvenient to pour water into the barrel. And one more very interesting point - the Largus fuse box, which is located under the hood, is covered with an ordinary cover, on which there is not a single identification mark - and how should I determine where the fuse is on the light, and where on the fog lights, for example.
But the design of the rear doors of the car is very convenient, they can be opened not only at 90 degrees, but also completely at 180 degrees, it will be quite comfortable to load oversized loads. Also, I wanted to say about the anti-corrosion treatment of the body, the masters of the service centers of the official dealers assure that everything has been done to the conscience and there is no need to further process the car, I took my word for it.
The air conditioner works as needed, I have no complaints about it, but the fact that there is no cabin filter is upsetting. Still, the device costs more than 400 thousand, and it is a shame not to put a cabin filter. Another disadvantage is the low level of comfort for the rear passengers, the three of us are very uncomfortable to sit, especially on long trips. The long wheelbase was a little annoying at first, and constantly hooked curbs on turns in the yards, now a month later - I got used to it.
