LOTOS introduces autonomous LPG refueling

In the LOTOS gas station network, stations for self-refueling of LPG by drivers have been launched. From the driver's point of view, the process of refueling with autogas is not much different from refueling with petrol or diesel fuel.

– Consistently preparing positions at gas stations, the implementation time for individual facilities depends mainly on from service and investment plans,” explains Adam Augustyniak, Head of Retail Sales at LOTOS Paliwa.

The rules recently introduced in Poland follow the decisions made in Western Europe. Stands should be appropriately marked with the possibility and information on how to refuel with LPG. The new requirements also apply to additional valves that increase the safety of the filling process. According to the new rules, the gun cannot release an expanded LPG cloud of more than 1 cm3, in addition, the design of the gun almost completely eliminates the wrong way to connect the LPG supply line to the machine. Regardless of this, each client can always ask for help from a station employee.

– Maintenance of gas water heaters by LOTOS network employees is an opportunity for drivers to use their time for a snack, good coffee or other purchases. It is also worth recalling that in the all-Russian rating “Quality of Service”, consumers have been giving especially high marks to such aspects as service time, competence and knowledge of our filling station network employees for several years now. – adds Adam Augustyniak.
