Lotus Exige - road racer
Lotus requires is a two-door two-door sports car that appeared on
market in 2000. The Exige is practically a coupe version of the Lotus Elise. The first Exige was equipped with a 1,8-liter K-series engine with 177 hp. In 2004, the second generation Exige appeared, equipped with a Toyota engine. The power unit had a volume of 1,8 liters and a power of 190 hp. In 2005, Lotus released a limited version of the Exige 240 R with a supercharged Toyota engine. The car produces 240 hp. A year later, the Exige S model appeared. A compressor was also installed here, and the engine power is 218 hp. Thanks to its low weight (914 kg), Exige S accelerates to “hundreds” in 4,1 seconds. The Exige clan also includes the GT3, Cup and Cup 240 racing models and the Exige 265E and 270E prototypes adapted to run on bioethanol.
