To work with an acid battery, almost any charge will do. For a calcium battery, it is better to buy a programmable charger (but not an intelligent one). For GEL and AGM batteries, it is better to use programmable or intelligent chargers with a choice of battery type.

It is not recommended to buy automatic chargers of a universal type without the ability to select the type of battery, current and other characteristics. In extreme cases, you can use such charging from well-known manufacturers, such as Bosch, Hyundai. They have similar settings. Cheap Chinese analogues do not have them.
