If you're a painter and work for someone else, chances are you don't care what you ride as long as it gets you to and from work reliably. This means you need a vehicle that can carry all of these things and get you safely to and from your jobs.

Toyota TacomaA: This is a great little truck for the home painter. It is available in 4x4, except for the X-Runner, which is rear-wheel drive only. If necessary, it can handle light towing.
Chevy silverado: Back to full-size trucks, the Silverado is another highly reliable vehicle available in V8 and V6 engines, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. It can handle all the equipment most paint contractors need and is a good reliable work truck.
ford flex: If keeping your supplies dry is important to you, but you don't like the idea of a capped pickup truck, this SUV might be the perfect option. The seats fold down for more than enough cargo capacity, while the low floor and large doors make loading easy.
Chevrolet traverse: This spacious SUV seats eight, so you know that once the seats are folded (or removed) you'll have more than enough room for equipment and supplies. We like the extra mirrors that increase agility.
