Mazda6 Sport Estate

In fact, it is quite difficult to decide which novelty is more important: a van body version or a diesel engine. But since the engine, of course, will also be a big plus for the sale of the other two body versions (both the already famous sedan and the new station wagon), let's start with it. This is a proven technology that has only been slightly improved to meet environmental requirements. Instead of the current 143 "horses", 140 can now be used, but consumption and CO2 emissions have been slightly reduced. Interestingly, there is no weaker, 120-strong version on sale.

Of course, this diesel as well as other petrol engines will be offered, i.e. 1, 8 and 120 liters, which now (with flexible valve control and a variable length intake system) can produce 147 and 2 "horsepower" respectively (and have in basically a five- or six-speed gearbox, with a more powerful one you might want a five-speed automatic for an extra charge) and a 5-litre, which with 170 “horsepower” is currently the top of the range in the new Mazda6 is available in all body styles .

A five-door sedan has now been added to the limousine version (in Slovenia it will be sold under the Mazda6 Sport label), and, of course, even more interesting for our market will be the station wagon version (for example, the Mazda6 Sport Combi), which boasts a good rear end shape and basic trunk volume of 519 liters. This is possible with the rear seats fully folded down (the Karakuri system is also used here, since the seats can be folded in one motion, and there is additional space under the lower trunk), even for the top-end 1.751 people in the class. liters.

Both body styles will be available in Slovenia from April, the same goes for the diesel engine. Compared to the same motorized and equipped version of the Mazda6 Sport sedan, it is 500 euros more expensive, and the Sport Combi is XNUMX euros more expensive. A thousand euros is also the difference between the price (again in the same equipment and in the same body) of a two-liter gasoline and diesel engine.
