McLaren launches P1, an electric vehicle model for (very) young drivers

To delight young drivers under the age of 6, McLaren offers its new P1, a special all-electric car that can reach an optimal speed of 5 km / h in just 2 seconds 🙂

All-electric P1 for young drivers

Today, McLaren pays tribute to very young drivers with its P1 car, which is characterized by being "all-electric." This open-roof P1 roadster offers optimum comfort for its drivers.

Designed exclusively for children under 6, the car has a top speed of 3 mph or 4,8 km / h, which it also achieves quite easily in just 2 seconds. The young P1 driver enters his car's center seat through authentic double-sided doors. It also has a "push-button" starting system in the car that starts the engine when the lights are automatically turned on.

It is also worth noting that the younger P1 electric car also comes with a suitable three-speed gearbox. While driving, young drivers can also completely relax in their cocoon and can listen to classic nursery rhymes pre-loaded and available at will, thanks to the standard in-car MP3-based audio system.

All-electric P1, available exclusively in Volcano Yellow.

For this electric car for children under 6, McLaren has largely opted for simplicity. Thus, instead of offering a list of available colors and finishes, the manufacturer is offering interested parties a vehicle available exclusively in the volcano yellow, bold and dynamic. The Ride On P1 will be available from select Mc Laren dealerships from the end of October for € 375 or $ 490. It will be immediately distributed to all toy retailers around the world.
