At the 2008 Beijing Auto Show, the MG 550 sedan was presented, which is based on the platform of the failed Rover RDX60 model. The novelty has received a massive stern section with a minimum amount of decorative elements. At the front, the sedan has a restrained, but not devoid of dynamism design. The front bumper is visually divided into three modules with a central air intake and lateral imitation of air intake zones.
