MIG-RR: new Ducati electric mountain bike to be showcased at EICMA

The Ducati MIG-RR is the result of a collaboration between Ducati and Thor EBikes and will have its world premiere on November 4th at the Milan Two Wheeler Show (EICMA).

For Ducati, the emergence of this new electric model should allow it to enter the fast-growing segment of mountain electric bikes. The Italian brand's electric bike, developed in collaboration with Italian specialist Thor eBikes and supported by the Ducati Design Center, is at the forefront of the range.

The Ducati MIG-RR model, a variation of the MIG series produced by Thor, uses the Shimano STEPS E8000 system, capable of producing up to 250 watts of power and 70 Nm of torque. The battery, located under the lower tube and above the connecting rod, has a capacity of 504 Wh.

On the bike side, the Ducati MIG-RR uses a Shimano XT 11-speed drivetrain, Fox fork, Maxxis tires, and Shimano Saint brakes.

Launched in spring 2019

Distributed through the Ducati network, the MIG-RR will officially launch in spring 2019 and will be available to order online from the Ducati website from January 2019.

His rates have not yet been disclosed.
