In addition to passenger cars, Fiat produces trucks, minibuses, and agricultural equipment.

Let's consider what Fiat models of minivans are currently offering.

Freemont

Fiat Freemont is a striking example of cooperation between Fiat and the American concern Chrysler. We talked about American cars on Vodi.su. The Freemont is the European equivalent of the 7-seater Dodge Journey crossover. Moscow car dealerships offer this car in two trim levels:

• Urban - from 1 rubles;
• Lounge - from 1 rubles.

Both configurations are presented in a front-wheel drive version with a powerful 2360 cc engine. This unit develops a power of 170 horsepower. Body length - 4910 mm, wheelbase - 2890 mm, ground clearance - 19 centimeters. The basic version is designed for 5 people, another row of seats can be ordered as an additional option.

The car is equipped with all the necessary functionality for comfortable and safe driving: front and side airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), anti-lock braking system ABS, BAS - emergency braking, traction control, trailer stabilization (TSD), rollover prevention, active head restraints and many other things. In a word, the choice is very decent.

Launch Voyager

If you ask what Lancia has to do with Fiat, the answer is: Lancia is a division of Fiat SPA.

The Voyager is a European copy of the Chrysler Grand Voyager. The cars are almost completely identical, with the exception of some small details.

In the European market, Lancia comes with two engines:

• 2,8-liter turbocharged diesel with 161 hp;
• a 6-liter V3.6 gasoline engine capable of squeezing out 288 hp.

The car provides all the amenities, up to ceiling monitors. The cabin fits 6 people, the rear row of seats is removed. It is not officially presented in Russia, but if you wish, you can always order from abroad.

Doblo

One of the most successful models of the Italian company. At its base, a lot of cars are assembled from cargo vans to roomy passenger minivans. To date, in Moscow and in Russia as a whole, a version of Doblo Panorama is presented, which is sold in three trim levels:

• Active - 786 thousand;
• Active + - 816 thousand;
• Dynamic - 867 thousand rubles.

The car comes in a 5-seater version. There is information that a version with an extended wheelbase for 7 people is being produced in Turkey, we have not yet presented it. Several types of engines from 1,2 to 2 liters. In Moscow, a complete set with a 77-horsepower 1,4-liter engine is now offered.

The editors of Vodi.su had experience in driving this car with just such an engine, let's face it - it is rather weak at full load, but on the other hand it is quite economical - about 8 liters in the city.

Qubo

Fiat Qubo is a slightly reduced copy of the previous model, also designed to carry 4-5 people. One of the advantages of the "Cube" are sliding doors, which is very convenient in tight city parking lots. The front bumper looks original, almost like a truck.

Comes with two engines: petrol and turbodiesel, 75 and 73 hp. If you want to save on fuel, then choose the diesel option, which consumes about 6 liters of diesel fuel in the city, and 5,8 liters outside the city. Gasoline in the city requires 9 liters, on the highway - 6-7.

It is not officially sold in Russia now, but it is available in Ukraine and Belarus. You can buy for about 700 thousand. Model 2008-2010 will cost 300-400 thousand.

Shield

Fiat Scudo is a 9-seater minivan. Citroen Jumpy and Peugeot Expert are almost exact French copies of it.

In Russia, it is presented with two types of diesel 2-liter engines:

• 2.0 TD MT L2H1 - 1 rubles;
• 2.0 TD MT L2H2 - 1 rubles.

Both engines squeeze out 120 horses. The average consumption of diesel fuel is at the level of 7-7,5 liters.

The updated version is equipped with a 6-band mechanics, there are ABS and EBD systems. The maximum speed is 140 kilometers per hour. The base comes in a five-seater version, additional seats are ordered as an option. Front drive. Load capacity reaches 900 kilograms. Fiat Scudo is a workhorse, available in a cargo version, in which case it will cost from 1,2 million rubles.
