Renault scenic

This is a striking example of a 5-seater compact van, which is produced in a large number of modifications:

• Scenic Conquest;
• Renault Grand Scenic.

If we talk about the Renault Grand Scenic, then this is an updated second-generation model that appeared on the market in 2013.

It is attractive for its efficiency and at the same time good technical characteristics:

• built on the Megan platform;
• gasoline and turbodiesel engines with Common Rail system;
• 1.6-liter gasoline engine squeezes out 115 hp, and 2-liter - 136 liters;

Renault Kangoo

Kangu or "Kangaroo" - a whole story is connected with this car. For many, it became the first van to deliver goods and start their own business. Thousands of kangas were brought in from Germany. In Europe, hybrid and electric versions are being developed. It is worth noting that the version offered at Moscow car dealerships refers to a second-generation restyled model - the facelift is visible to the naked eye, so the difference from the first models of the early 2000s is very obvious.

Renault Docker

Dokker is presented in passenger and cargo versions - Dokker Van. This is again a rebadged Dacia Dokker model. In terms of its technical characteristics, it is generally similar to the Renault Kangoo - the same 1.6 and 1.5 liter gasoline and diesel engines, the same power.

Dynamic indicators are also exactly the same:

• gasoline - acceleration to hundreds of km / h takes 15,8 seconds;
• diesel - 13,6 seconds;
• maximum speed - 160 km / h on both engines.

The car is equipped with a manual transmission, and the toxicity standard complies with the Euro-4 standard. The maximum load capacity is 640 kilograms.

Renault Espace

Also quite a popular minivan, designed for 5 passengers. There is also an extended version - Renault Grand Espace - it can be driven by seven people.

Renault Espace (or Espace) has been rolling off the assembly line for quite a long time - since 1983, during this time 5 generations have changed, and the Espace V was presented to the general public last year at an exhibition in Paris in 2014.

It is not officially sold in Russia.

The updated minivan impresses with its exterior and thoughtful interior.

In technical terms, this is a bright representative of city cars:

• 3 types of engines - 130 and 160-horsepower 1.6-liter diesel engines, 1.6-liter turbo gasoline with 200 hp;
• transmission - 6-speed manual, 6 and 7-speed QuickShift EDC robot (similar to preselection DSG with two clutches;
• the maximum speed for a turbodiesel is 202 km / h.

The car is distinguished by not too big appetites: diesel consumes an average of 4,6 liters, gasoline units - 5,7 liters per hundred kilometers.

If we talk about prices, then even the basic version with a gasoline engine and manual transmission will cost 32 euros. That is, if you want to bring it from abroad, then get ready to pay at least two and a half million rubles.

Renault mode

Renault Modus is a subcompact van, very similar to such cars as Nissan Note, Citroen C3 Picasso, Kia Soul. Produced in a Spanish factory in Valladolid. There is also an extended version - Renault Grand Modus. Thanks to the lengthening of the body by only 15 centimeters, the minivan can easily accommodate five people along with the driver.

Modus is built on the same platform as Renault Logan. In technical terms, the car is purely urban, it has not too powerful atmospheric gasoline engines with a volume of 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 liters, capable of squeezing out 75, 98 and 111 horsepower, respectively.

The engines are aggregated with a 5-speed manual, borrowed from the second generation Megan.

Exclusively for Europe, cars with diesel engines and automatic transmissions were produced.

If we talk about prices, they are not low - from about 15 thousand euros for the basic version with a turbocharged gasoline engine. You can, however, buy a used car from Germany, the prices in this case will depend on the condition. Speaking in general, this compact van makes a good impression, the front part looks especially attractive - a streamlined hood and rather large recognizable headlights.
