Many owners of low-cost low-cost cars insist that climate systems or air conditioners in such cars practically do not cool the interior. But I decided to check if this is so, using the example of my Largus. In Lada Largus there is an air conditioner that does not work so badly as many think.

I left on a hot day on a trip of 000 km I had to go in one direction. On the street, the thermometer showed +300 degrees. Excellent, I thought, I’ll just check what the regular Conder is capable of. A few hours on the road at this temperature was quite comfortable for me and the front passenger. To check how the passengers will feel in the back there, we decided with our friend to change seats and rest for a few minutes. And left the engine and air conditioner running.

Of course, the front feels a little more cool than the back, but the temperature for the rear passengers is quite normal - and if you also tint the rear hemisphere, then everything will be fine.

There are 4 operating modes, there are plenty of them - in the fourth position it simply blows away with the air stream, you can freeze in the cabin, a real refrigerator. It is quite comfortable when the air conditioner on the Largus is turned on at 2 speeds.

If there is a strong and simply unbearable heat outside, then you can add additional cold to the car interior by closing the air recirculation flap, that is, warm air from the street will not enter the cabin, and it will be much colder. As for the fuel consumption with the air conditioner turned on on Largus, on the highway it increased to 9 liters for me, I think that this is more than normal for such a car.
