The last years of the company's activity are associated with its consistent and sustainable development, which manifests itself in various areas. The Management Board, headed by President Marcin Notcun, constantly introduces new solutions and initiates activities, thanks to which the company occupies a high position among the companies in the aviation industry. Within three years, Zakłady, as the only defense industry company in Poland, successfully implemented the Lean Management concept, which reduces the working time for this service, which increased the efficiency of production processes. Much attention is also paid to research and development work. A number of initiatives are being implemented, including the Three-Stage Suborbital Rocket. This and many other R&D activities, which are the proverbial "apple of the eye" of the Chairman of the Board of the Company, have led to the many successes achieved by WZL1. All this is reflected in the financial results of the company - once again the plant can boast of very good income. Their systematic growth has been observed for several years. In relation to 2020 alone, the plant increased their value by 5%, reaching a revenue of PLN 234 million. This dynamic of the company's finances allows the Board to initiate new ventures and strengthen the company.

WZL1 systematically responds to the needs of our most important customer, the Polish Armed Forces. We adapt the Company to perform a wide range of tasks that, while maintaining the efficiency of the air fleet, contribute to ensuring national security. We are ready to perform in various national programs, as well as cooperate in the international arena. All this leads to measurable benefits for the Company, manifested in the achieved sales revenues and profits. The company is in excellent financial condition, thanks to which we can confidently develop and initiate new activities that allow us to maintain a stable position of the Plant among existing and potential customers, says Marcin Notcun, Chairman of the Board, CEO of WZL1.

A well-managed enterprise can afford to implement innovative improvements and changes, the activation of which leads to an increase in the position of WZL1 in the industry. For ten months already, a new landing site adapted for night work has been operating on the territory of the Plant, one of the most modern hangars in Europe with places for rest and food, a workshop for the manufacture of composite structures that reduce shock loads. production in the natural environment, a pre-treatment plant for sewage and a renovated electroplating plant adapted to world standards. A number of buildings located on the company's premises, such as warehouses, have also been upgraded. This year, the R&D section of WZL1 will start operating in the new R&D Center together with the NDT Center, co-financed from EU funds. A specialized NDT laboratory with a new flaw detector will allow testing and repair of units that have been repaired in foreign cooperation so far. It will also be possible to conduct non-destructive ultrasonic (US) and radiographic (RT) testing. In the spring of 2022, the construction of the infrastructure for the modern Waterjet 5D CNC machine, the head of which allows cutting at an angle, will be completed. The prototype shop will also include a 3D printer. This winter, the process of modernizing the paint shop will be completed, which will be equipped with a new automation system for controlling ventilation, lighting and humidification processes. Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 SA has become a world-class company, one of the exhibits of both the province and the country. The factories do not stop there, adapting to the dynamically developing aviation market, introducing the latest standards and industrial technologies.
