Morgan engraved on wood

"If it's not broken, don't fix it." It seems to be the motto of the Morgan Motor Company.

Classic car lovers don't like change. For more than 100 years, the company has remained independent, built all the cars by hand, kept customers waiting for orders for over a year, and still builds their cars out of wood.

No, this is not a typo. Morgan cars have always been built solely on the basis of a wooden frame.

This seemingly archaic frame is then overlaid with a metal sheath to provide a stronger structure. Each metal shears is slightly different, so each owner will receive a one-of-a-kind Morgan car.

It is clear that Morgan produces only about 600 cars a year. Owners can pay anywhere from $40,000 to $300,000 for one of these excellent "adult cards".

Morgan also likes to keep things in the family. Founded by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan, it was passed on to his son Peter and is now owned by Peter's son Charles.
