Wrinkles on the smartphone - how to deal with them?

Do you know how much time you spend in front of the screen of your computer, smartphone and tablet? According to the latest statistics, that's nine hours a day. A lot of. We belong to the down generation, that's a fact. The result of constant staring at the screens of smartphones is the emergence of a new threat to beauty - a technological neck. We are talking about transverse wrinkles on the neck and second chin - signs of skin aging that appear earlier and earlier. Not surprisingly, neck flexion causes adverse changes in the cervical spine, muscles, and finally the skin over time. When we bend down at a 45-degree angle and simultaneously pull in the chin, the skin wrinkles and the latissimus dorsi simply weakens. When exposed to constant compression, the skin becomes flabby as well with it. The transverse wrinkles become permanent and the neck begins to resemble a folded piece of paper.

Unfortunately, that's not all, as the chin also loses elasticity, constantly sinking towards the sternum. And over time, a second chin appears, and the cheeks lose their elasticity. We know the term "hamsters" well, but so far we have only talked about them in the context of mature skin care. No longer, because the problem of loss of elasticity in the cheek area appears even ten years earlier.

Do you want a smooth neck? Pick up the phone.

And here we should put a stop sign, we already know the blacklist of beauty threats and, fortunately, we know what to do to avoid a smartphone chin or fix an existing one.

There are many invasive methods, ranging from fractional laser treatment, which regenerates collagen in the skin, to lifting threads (introduced under the skin, “tighten” the oval of the face and smooth the chin).

We take care of care, which is the first step in eliminating the effects of excessive staring at the phone. However, before choosing a good cream, mask and serum, raise the screen of your smartphone higher and try to look at it directly, and not at an angle. Ideally, you should always pay attention to this, or install the Text Neck app, which gives you an alert when you lower the camera too low.
