Mugga against mosquitoes - peace of mind on holiday

How is Mugga mosquito repellent useful on holiday? So that your rest is not disturbed by any importunity: bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. When we go to bed, they feel in their element. It was as if they were waiting for sleep to reveal to them the exposed surfaces of our skin. Unfortunately, mosquitoes, ticks and other insects hunt us constantly, and we fight them, which, unfortunately, comes down primarily to defense. What repels mosquitoes, ticks, midges, flies, midges, midges, mosquitoes, ticks...?

However, not only at night... Troubles associated with the presence of insects are a reality known to everyone from walks, lunches in the fresh air, and even at work, when just one nasty fly can disrupt concentration. Therefore, we can divide preventive measures into two types. Those that we apply to our skin and provide protection after treatment - insect repellents travel with us, and those that act locally, emitting a repellent aroma inside the camper, trailer or room.

Applicators for skin

Most often in the form of a spray or applicator, which we spray onto exposed skin. Here the key role is played by the content and amount of the active ingredient DEET in the formulation. In the case of Mugga repellents, in addition to the base ingredient, compositions of plant extracts are used that block insect receptors, which reduces or completely eliminates their interest in human skin.

Concentrations and combinations vary among products intended for specific applications. A formulation considered good and effective is supposed to protect children and adults from mosquitoes for about 9 hours in temperate climates and 4 to 8 hours in tropical climates. Counteraction to a tick bite should last the same - about 8 hours. This is how the 75ml Mugga Spray works, containing up to 50% DEET, making it ideal for use in hot climates. This is also the highest amount of this ingredient in the range of products available on the market.

Mosquito repellent and protection of premises

You can use Japanese incense sticks or classic slippers... but who wants to do textile fencing and erase traces of flies and mosquitoes from the walls? Electrical deterrents are more effective, operating like a fire-and-forget air-guided missile. This is where Mugga's 230V socket product comes in, guaranteeing nearly 45 nights of restful sleep. Under the influence of heat, an aroma is released from the device’s tank, imperceptible to humans, but poorly tolerated by insects. The Mugga Electric Mosquito Repellent Device releases Pralethrin at a concentration of 1.2%, which is an agent approved for use in many countries around the world.

How else can you protect yourself?

Different insects prefer different environments. They also have specific peak activity times. Mosquitoes are most often daytime and evening hunters. They, like ticks, love damp and warm places. Until recently, it was believed that it was easiest to catch a tick near trails along which wild animals move. Unfortunately, you can also be bitten in the park, on your home lawn, or on the playground. Avoiding such areas defeats the purpose of relaxation, so it is helpful to simply remember - if possible - to wear appropriate clothing to minimize the risk of being bitten. Appropriate shoes, long sleeves, long pants. When you return from a walk, be sure to check the surface of your skin for ticks, remembering specific and safe methods for removing them. Let's also think about mosquito nets in our camping vehicles.
