MyFi - in-car entertainment from Delphi What if you could safely duplicate your smartphone display in your car? What if your car was smart enough to know which apps are safe to use while driving, but at the same time could display all of your phone's apps on the car's display when it's stationary?

MyFi - in-car entertainment from Delphi Delphi Automotive answers these questions with a family of products called MyFi™ designed to enable car manufacturers to provide their customers with information and entertainment solutions to meet increasingly sophisticated customer needs. Offering innovative solutions including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, voice recognition, hands-free systems and audio signal processing systems, MyFi™ products provide the appropriate level of connectivity required for each of the above applications.

Premium MyFi™ solutions can even use LANs and WANs to connect to smartphone apps, remote servers and cloud media services. “Just a few years ago, when we imagined infotainment in our cars, we were talking about AM/FM radios with cassette players or CD players,” said Jugal Vijaywargia, Infotainment & Driver Interface Product Director. "Customers today want to be connected 24/7, and Delphi offers a real solution for that connection."

Delphi MyFi™ infotainment systems provide the same services as traditional radios, but offer much more. Offering flexibility, superior quality and design that also creates a positive experience, MyFi™ systems help automakers meet the needs of today's customers out of the box.

By integrating infotainment with customer experience, active and passive safety systems, MyFi™ systems minimize distractions, leverage Delphi's knowledge and experience in safety systems, and provide maximum added value for car manufacturers and buyers.

Delphi MyFi™ products are scalable, offering different levels of performance based on customer requirements. With a well-structured architecture, MyFi™ systems also enable car manufacturers to offer first-class communications and entertainment systems that can be easily upgraded with software upgrades – as trends and technologies evolve.

In the European market, Delphi first introduced an infotainment system - CNR radio for connectivity and navigation - last year in the Audi A1. CNR's open, thoughtful architecture allows over 200 different systems to be implemented by properly configuring the in-car infotainment platform with simple software updates.

MyFi - in-car entertainment from Delphi Over the next 12 months, Delphi plans to release exciting new MyFi™ products for voice recognition and text-to-speech; Take advantage of standards such as WiFi, Bluetooth and USB and implement integrated applications such as Pandora and Stitcher. These innovative systems will allow drivers and passengers to access smartphone apps, listen to and reply to text messages, and use advanced navigation systems without taking their hands off the wheel and distracting the driver.
