At what height should you mount your TV in the kitchen or bedroom?

If we are talking about the kitchen or bedroom, the height of the TV installation will be different from the height of the living room. In the kitchen, the appliance should be placed a little higher, about 150 cm (or more) from the floor. How high to hang the TV depends mainly on how the household will use it. He will most likely be seen standing, cooking, or sitting at a table. Chairs in the kitchen are usually taller than a sofa or armchair.

In the bedroom, TV is most often watched lying down. Therefore, the most comfortable height for the user will be about 180 cm from the floor in the case of mattresses and beds of standard sizes. An angle-adjustable TV mount is also a great solution for extra viewing comfort.

How to hang a TV on the wall?

Nowadays, more and more people prefer to buy large TVs that should be hung on the wall. Such a device is not only more comfortable viewing, but also the possibility of better interior design by saving space. Hanging TV looks fashionable and allows you to create the impression of a home theater. However, how to hang the TV on the wall so that the household is comfortable and safe?

First of all, be sure to purchase a suitable sturdy TV mount that will keep the device stable and out of the reach of small children. The holder must also match the TV model. What to look for when buying it?

Very important issues are: the size and weight of the TV (due to the specific load capacity and the size of the brackets), the type of mounting (the TV can be placed on the wall, ceiling or on a movable console), the distance from the wall and the adjustment of the position (so that after installing the bracket, you can correct TV position). But how do you mount your TV on the wall if you already have the right bracket?

To properly install the device, you will need:

First of all, you need to choose a place on the wall where the TV will be located, and mark this place, for example, with a pencil. Then attach the pen to the selected place and level it with a spirit level. The next step is to mark the places for the mounting holes and drill them with a drill. It is necessary to insert dowels into such prepared holes, and then screw the bracket to the wall (the necessary screws with metal washers must be included in the kit).
