Outside temperature

When we go from the north of the country to the mountains in winter, we can observe how the temperature changes with increasing altitude.

Reading the outside temperature informs the driver about the possibility of icing on the road. This information allows you to make a decision to reduce the speed of movement, which directly affects the safety of travel. That is why many cars, even the compact class, are factory equipped with outside temperature sensors with readings on the instrument panel. In addition to visual information, the system warns the driver with an audible signal when the temperature drops below plus 4 degrees C. Another signal indicates that the temperature has dropped below 0 degrees C and there is a risk of road icing.
