Our people: Peter Rozzell | Chapel Hill Sheena

Always glad to see you, always ready to listen and treat each other like family.

If you drive to our Cole Park store, you've probably already met Peter. As the manager of this place, he has been taking clients there since 2014. Peter was initially attracted to Chapel Hill Tire because he was looking for a better work-life balance; however, Peter stayed with the company all these years because of so much more.

“I wanted to be treated like I was part of the family. I wanted to be respected, treated well, listened to. I found this in Chapel Hill Tire,” Peter said.

Not only did he find it for himself, but he is also a leading advocate for one of our core values: treating each other like family. His strong relationships with colleagues and clients are due to his sincere and approachable personality. 

Day in and day out, Peter enjoys the opportunity his job provides him to train and interact with people. He strives to be an affable person that people can come to when they are feeling down, and he succeeds. He takes the time to understand what his clients and colleagues are telling him, gives advice when he can, and encourages when needed.

“You can really talk to Peter sincerely, and he will never judge you,” said colleague Rozzell Jess Cervantes. “I consider him my mentor and he is the first person I turn to. If we are stuck on a problem, he always has a solution. He's incredibly smart and a pleasure to work with." 

In addition to professional excellence at Chapel Hill Tire, Peter also brings a bright and happy image to the store. He is described as very kind and outgoing, he greets clients with a bright smile and always entertains his colleagues. 

“He's a dumb guy. He makes us all laugh and is really fun to be around, not to mention he's a great basketball player," said his colleague Jess Cervantes. 

By constantly encouraging others and celebrating small victories, Peter highlighted one of our core values: “We win as a team. I am grateful to my colleagues and thankful that I am here.” 

We at Chapel Hill Tire are lucky to have great people like Peter Rozzell who understand that the work we do with cars is really about people - the people we work with and the customers who rely on these cars.
