Here at Chapel Hill Tire, our "Work It Happy" culture is based on the idea that happy employees create happy customers and happy customers create a thriving business. This is the culture we are trying to create by living our five values:

Although he was initially skeptical, Terry Govoro was immediately immersed in the culture of Chapel HIll Tire when he began working with us in 2019. stunned,” he said. “It was unlike anything I had experienced before. However, as soon as I saw it in action, I knew this was where I wanted to be.”
As our Human Resources Director, Terry interacts with employees on a regular basis, getting to know each of them and providing assistance when needed. If an employee ever seeks help, they turn to him and he happily works to eliminate their stressors.
Of all our values, “being grateful and helpful” resonates the most with Terry. Throughout his life, he has been drawn to helping others, and this value has always been a part of his work.
“My job is to take on difficult tasks that stress employees. I'm happy to help so they have one less problem. Without fail, every employee I can help and communicate with is very grateful. It's inspiring because I'm just doing my job. I am grateful every day for walking into this place and seeing the level of care everyone treats each other with,” he says.
In his spare time, Terry enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as rooting for his favorite sports team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I know my colleagues will give me trouble for this, but I like to say, ‘I bleed for the Kansas City Chiefs and I bleed for the Chapel Hill Tire,’” he said with a smile.
As grateful as Terry is to work at Chapel Hill Tire every day, we all here are grateful to him for being on our team. Thank you Terry for everything you do to help us Work Happy.
