Garmin Ltd. introduced a new navigation system designed for Mini cars. Mini Navigation Portable XL is a unique design that matches the style of the car. It uses the latest Garmin technologies such as Garmin Real Directions™, Lane Keeping Assist, traffic information search and continuous map updates, as well as voice command control.
The Mini Navigation Portable XL system is mounted on a specially designed bracket next to the steering column. 
This solution gives the driver easy access to the device and the ability to control the displayed information on a large four-inch touch screen. Cables can be hidden right under the dash so drivers don't have to deal with tangled coils, and the cigarette lighter socket can be used to power another device. Easy installation also allows you to carry the device with you and easily update maps and software using your home computer.
The complete solution, designed for Mini vehicles, uses the latest Garmin technologies, including Garmin Real Directions™, and an extensive navigation system. The device will guide drivers through the urban jungle, navigating to landmarks such as tall buildings, recognizable objects, or major intersections. In addition, drivers can use the Lane Keeping Assistant, which, using voice prompts and instructions displayed on the device’s screen, will help to easily pass the most complex communication interchanges. In addition, navigation offers access to an extensive database of over a million points of interest, including shops, restaurants, gas stations and car parks. Mini Navigation Portable XL also provides information about speed limits, detours and traffic jams. Thanks to the possibility of a free lifetime map update, the user is guaranteed to use verified and up-to-date data. New maps can be downloaded for free four times in one year for the life of your device.
Support for the Bluetooth standard allows you to use the device as an on-board hands-free system, which guarantees comfortable and safe telephone conversations without having to take your eyes off the road and your hand on the steering wheel. In addition, mobile phone data connectivity gives Mini Navigation Portable XL users access to real-time road and weather information, speed camera warnings, and the ability to use a local search engine. To use the above feature, you must download the free Garmin Smartphone Link app (available for Android and iOS systems) and connect your phone to the navigation system via Bluetooth.
