Polish roads before Euro 2012 resemble a huge construction site. Construction and repair work continues on all major routes connecting the south to the north of Poland and the east to the west. On the national road No. 8 from Piotrkow Trybunalski to the border of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship (i.e. more than 80 kilometers in total), drivers have only one lane at their disposal. More than 20 repairs have been carried out on the popular Semyorka route, that is, on the Warsaw-Gdansk route.

Residents of Warsaw are preparing for the biggest traffic paralysis in recent years. Sokoła Street between Wybrzeże Szczecinski and Zamoyski Streets has already been closed, as well as limited traffic along Grzybowska Street, which leads to huge traffic jams in the city center.
