T505 PRO is a versatile and fairly cheap tablet running Android 9.0 GO operating system with preinstalled Navitel navigation with maps for as many as 47 countries and a GSM phone with two SIM cards. The whole set is a very interesting solution if we need something more than just navigation, and at a reasonable price.
Navitel T505 PRO is a versatile navigation tablet with preloaded maps for 47 European countries, slots for two GSM phone cards and a microSD card slot. All this for a moderate price.
The device has a budget processor Mediatek MT8321, which is used mainly in smartphones. MTK8321 Cortex-A7 is a quad-core processor with core clock up to 1,3GHz and GPU frequency up to 500MHz. In addition, the chip includes an EDGE/HSPA+/WDCDMA modem and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The built-in single-channel memory controller supports 3GB LPDDR1 RAM.
Although this is a budget processor, it is successfully used by many, even branded manufacturers of smartphones and tablets (for example, Lenovo TAB3 A7).
The device can also connect via Bluetooth 4.0 module.

The GO version of the system, provided by Google, is a stripped-down version, the purpose of which is to make devices equipped with it more efficient and faster. Initially, it was intended mainly for use in budget smartphones with a small amount of RAM, but it also works - as you can see - in tablets. The result of its use are lean applications, which, however, do not lose their functionality. However, thinning has a positive effect on the processor, which is not so heavily overloaded.
The T505 PRO tablet has external dimensions of 108 x 188 x 9,2mm, so it's a very handy device. The body is made of matte black plastic. The back panel has a nice checkered texture. Despite the fact that here we are dealing with plastic, the case itself is very stable, nothing is deformed (for example, when pressed with a finger), the individual elements are very well fitted and connected to each other.
On the side of the tablet, we find the volume buttons and the power switch. They all have a nice low tone and work confidently. At the top we find the headphone jack (3,5 mm) and the microUSB socket, while at the bottom we find the microphone. On the back panel is a miniature speaker.
The tablet has two cameras - front 0,3 megapixel and rear 2 megapixel. To be honest, the manufacturer could refuse one of them (weaker). The 2-megapixel camera may not impress with its parameters, but on the other hand, if we want to take a picture quickly, it can help a lot. Well then this. In total, nothing would have happened in the future if there was only one rear camera, but with better parameters.
The 7-inch (17,7 mm) IPS color touch screen has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and although it is dimmable, the image on the screen may be less visible on a bright sunny day. But only then. In everyday use, it is crisp with good color reproduction. The screen surface itself can get scratched (although we didn't notice this, and there are a lot of aesthetes), so it's a good idea to protect it. There are plenty of solutions here, and most films designed for 7-inch screens will do. Knowing that the device will be transferred from car to car, we still decided to choose just such a solution.
The suction cup holder for the windshield may seem a little rough, but... it is incredibly effective. And yet he has a rather large device to maintain. Interestingly, the handle itself also has a folding leg, so that after removing it from the glass, it can be placed, for example, on the countertop. This is a very convenient solution.
The power cord ends with a plug for a 12V cigarette lighter socket. A ferrite anti-interference filter is used on the side of the micro USB connector. My main concern is the length of the power cord, which is just over 110 cm. It seems to be enough, but if we want to run the cable inside the car quite discreetly, then it may not be enough. But DIY enthusiasts have something to brag about.

The Navitel navigator has maps for as many as 47 European countries (the list is in the specification). These maps can be updated for life and free of charge, and updates are provided by Navitel on average every quarter. The maps have speed camera warning, POI database and travel time calculation.
The graphics are already known from other Navitel navigation devices. It is very intuitive, full of details and quite legible. We appreciate the map detail, especially on such a large screen. However, it is not overloaded with information, and the one who is convinced of it may not imagine another solution.
It is also intuitive to use the function to search for an address, a nearby place, view your travel history, or enter and use the saved position of your favorite places later.
Navigation finds and suggests routes very quickly. It also quickly restores the signal after it is temporarily lost (for example, when driving in a tunnel). It is also quite effective in suggesting alternative routes if we miss a descent or a turn.

However, Navitel T505 PRO is not only about navigation. It's also a mid-range tablet that also includes a calculator, audio/video player, voice recorder, FM radio or GSM phone with regular-sized dual SIM capability. Thanks to a Wi-Fi connection or an Internet connection via GSM, we can also go to a YouTube channel or access Gmail. of course, you can also use a search engine.
An Internet connection allows you to browse websites or watch programs. Navitel also allows you to play music or movies stored on the MicroSD card. It is a pity that the memory of the card is limited to only 32 GB.
If we are traveling by car with children, we will fully appreciate the possibilities offered by this device. The kids can't get away from it.
The 2800 mAh polymer-lithium battery allows you to use the tablet for several hours. At 75% screen brightness and surfing the Internet (browsing websites, playing YouTube videos), we managed to achieve up to 5 hours of uninterrupted operation. The kit includes both a cable with a plug for a 12V cigarette lighter socket, and a cable with a USB plug and a 230/5V plug/transformer.

Navitel T505 PRO is not a top class tablet. This is a full-fledged navigation, "packed" in a functional tablet, thanks to which we can use one device as navigation, as a phone with two SIM cards, a source of music and movies from a MicroSD card. , and a simple but highly functional web browser. We can also take photos. And all this in one device at a price of no more than 300 PLN. Plus, with free lifetime cards and a relatively huge 7-inch screen. So, if we want to opt for classic navigation, maybe we should think about the Navitel T505 PRO model? We will get here not only it, but also a whole set of useful accessories, and we will use the device not only in the car, but also outside it. And it will become the center of our sightseeing entertainment.
