The action related to the safety of motorcyclists "Don't be around ..." has started. The action is dedicated to motorcyclists, as well as to all road users who have a clear impact on the safety of two-wheelers. The campaign, initiated by the Silesian Road Traffic, was created to reduce the number of dangerous road accidents involving motorcyclists and ATV drivers.

Don't be there. Police actions have begunThe action represents a strong opposition to violations of the law on the roads, including. speeding, bravado and dangerous driving style (the so-called burning rubber, driving on one wheel, deliberate skidding of a controlled car). Most often, it is this behavior that causes a huge danger in traffic.

The uniform indicates that such behavior will be severely punished and effectively eliminated. It is important to note that the idea of the program is not only to talk about the inevitability of punishment, but, above all, to appeal to the feelings and emotions of drivers and, thus, let them know that dangerous behavior on the road threatens their lives. and the safety of others. The event is accompanied by the broadcast of a touching movie that tells the tragic story of a 25-year-old motorcyclist.

The campaign is organized by the Provincial Police Office in Katowice with the support of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways, the Katowice Branch and the Provincial Traffic Center in Katowice.
