Supercharger not working - can I find another charging station in Tesla Navigator? [ANSWER]

Google Maps in Tesla vehicles calculate routes based on superchargers. Sometimes they are turned on even when Tesla charging stations are marked as inactive (temporarily disabled). Can you find other charging points with them?

In standard use of Google Maps (= navigation) in Tesla, it turns on the superchargers and informs the driver of the necessary charging time needed to move on – either to the destination or to the next supercharger. Thus, the mechanism tries that the travel time is as short as possibleeven if it means shutting down to the expected charge level:

Tesla recommends charging times to minimize travel times. Therefore, the recommended levels of energy replenishment will vary depending on the destination and the distance to it. (C) Reader Wojciech

However, if the Supercharger is damaged, we can look for other charging points in the Tesla navigation. Unfortunately, the system doesn't work perfectly, because in Poland you can top up energy at "charging stations", "chargers" or "charging points" - such names are used by people who add elements to maps - and the engine searches by names. :

Because if we need to find an alternative charging station, it is best to search for it by the name of the operator, for example GreenWay. Then the navigation will easily lead us to the chosen place - although, of course will not know if there is a glitch.

We add that Tesla remembers charging points of other operatorswe used. Such points can get on the map, although not all Readers notice the work of this mechanism. It is also worth adding that the Tesla navigator, yes, is able to calculate the route to the charging station of another operator, but I can not include it in the route so that we can calculate how much time we need to spend there in order to continue our journey.
