Gears are not included on the VAZ 2112

It took about half a year after buying my VAZ 2112, and then a very sad breakdown happened. I arrived home in the evening, parked the car near the yard, went out in the evening to drive into the garage, but the gears are not included. It turns out that while I was sleeping, my mother was driving a car for shopping, and probably contributed to this breakdown. I also noticed that the car is on the fifth speed, but it is impossible to turn it off. What I just did not do to turn off the speed, but all attempts have led nowhere. And then all 92 horsepower, which were hidden under the hood of my VAZ 2112, went into the entrance. And more specifically, I had to drive the car into the garage in fifth gear for the night. Somehow with an interference, of course I had to burn the clutch a little bit, but still I drove the car into the garage.

 

In the morning, he no longer raped the engine, pushed the car out of the garage, hooked the cable and pulled it in tow to the service. And there they presented us with a not very joyful picture. Removing the box and disassembling with all the ensuing consequences. After the gearbox was removed in the service, we were told that we would have to change the entire fifth speed, since it was because of its breakdown that the entire gearbox jammed. After disassembling the gearbox, we replaced all the gears in fifth gear, and put everything in place. For one, they changed the wings, since it was already loose, and because of this, the gears were already switched on with difficulty and sometimes even the wrong ones, that is, instead of the fourth, it was possible to get to the second speed. But after the replacement, the box became like new, the transmissions turn on the rosary, there is no backlash in the gearshift lever, it was already unusual at first to drive, but, as they say, you quickly get used to good things.
