The engine is undoubtedly the most important element of a car. In modern units, breakdowns are rare, but when something happens, repairs are usually expensive.

Timing belt - an element of the camshaft drive that controls the operation of the valves. It transmits the drive to the shaft from the crankshaft. When the belt breaks, the valves do not work and the valves, pistons and cylinder head are almost always damaged.

Toothed belt - used to drive the generator, water pump, air conditioner. For the correct operation of these devices, the condition of the belt and its tension should be checked from time to time. This is especially important on vehicles equipped not with a toothed belt, but with a V-belt.

Generator - provides electricity to all devices of the car. If it is damaged, the battery usually discharges, and it is forced to stop. Most often, the brushes wear out, and their replacement is not expensive.
