  2. The gearbox also needs to be warmed up. This has an extremely negative effect on the resource of the power unit, so before releasing the clutch pedal, let the engine run for at least a minute without load.
  3. Cold engine power is much lower. There can be no doubts here, and for sure every car owner of a VAZ 2107, especially with a carburetor engine, knows very well that it works unstable on a cold engine and does not give out full power.

Even if you use synthetic oils in the internal combustion engine and gearbox, this does not mean that you do not need to warm up the engine. Whichever expensive oil you use, its operating range for minimal wear will be only at positive temperatures.

Since most VAZ 2107 cars have a coolant temperature sensor, which starts to show from 50 degrees, it is better to wait until the arrow deviates from its lower mark, which will signal sufficient warming up to start driving.
