Nio EP9: speed from NextEv

Going to 200 km / h in an electric car in just 7,1 seconds? It's now possible with the Nio EP9 from Chinese startup NetEV. Design and breathtaking, this car was officially unveiled to the public on Monday 21 November. But if the presentation was only made this month, it is good to note that the car has already made a circle on the Nürburgring, established in Germany, to make a name and reputation there. The bet proved to be successful given that whoever wants to be new to the electric market broke the speed record set by Tesla on October 12: 7 minutes 5 seconds versus 7 minutes 22 seconds for the California brand's car. On November 4th, the Nio EP9 also challenged the Paul Ricarda circuit in Var and in this case finished 47 seconds behind the last recorded record.

Nio EP9: specifications

The Nio EP1360 has 1 horsepower (or 9 megawatts) and is equipped with a battery that can be fully charged in just 45 minutes and has a range of 427 km. In addition to efficiency, the car also exhibits an attractive design: a tech interior, a 4-screen dashboard, a carbon fiber cab and chassis that also improve both autonomous driving and aerodynamics. For NextEv founder: William Lee, this is a high-end product that represents all the possibilities that electric vehicles have to offer. Moreover, it is only when the experience exceeds the owner's expectations that electric vehicles can, according to the same person, become the natural choice for everyone.

The official release of Nio EP9 is scheduled for 2018. However, the price has not yet been announced.
