How Much HP and KW Does Nissan Qashqai 1.6 16V Have

Today, when we have already seen (some even drove) so many vans, limousines and limousines, and every day we are bombarded with soft SUVs, sometimes when selling a car you have to go the other way. The competition is fierce here, and the products are becoming more and more unusual. One of them is the Nissan Qashqai. The half of Slovenia that sees him on the road can't read his name, three-quarters of the remaining half can't pronounce it, and the real test of intelligence is writing his name. .

But Qashqai is ideal for European roads. And customers are tired of everyday life. The design doesn't scream that the fruit is a pretty fresh idea, but it's special enough that people turn to it on the go. Some even point their finger at "the one whose name we do not pronounce." Otherwise, it's the easiest thing to do: show what you know. Cash-kai. The first and not the last. We know? Those who have already impressed them, albeit only in terms of design and ideas, master the "kash-kai" in the middle of the night.

Admit it, if you are interested in buying it and say the name Qashqai three times, you are almost already it. And step by step. The Qashqai is the result of big compromises and is the business of almost every Nissan department dealing with almost every class of vehicle, except that the pickup has thankfully not been mixed with the Q. always have to worry about getting your pants dirty when going out), plastic sills and underbody protection, a sleek rugged look and feel. . that's what "off-road" means.

The test Qashqai with a 1-liter gasoline engine was propelled from the ground by only the front pair of wheels. All-wheel drive can be thought of exclusively with a two-liter petrol or diesel engine. Like ESP! However, such a Qashqai is more off-road than other mid-range cars. The distance from the ground ensures that on a cart track (or in winter snowmobiles) you don't slide your belly higher than an average dandelion. On gravel, it is also more comfortable than "exclusively road competitors".

If you enjoy parking on the sidewalks (you know it's wrong and wrong?), The Q with balloon boots will be more than ready as well. And you don't have to pick up torn plastic spoilers from the floor or look at the mufflers. It is also positioned high up on the SUV, which provides good visibility of what is happening around the Qashqai's nose. SUV buyers also choose these vehicles for their (often false) sense of security. The facts bear this out as, just a few weeks ago, Land Rover's Freelander 2 became the first compact SUV to receive a five-star rating for adult occupant protection!

Qashqai has not yet done so, but it is possible that this unusual "concept" will make it into the top five. The rear is less convenient when parking due to poor visibility (mainly due to "aircraft" rear side windows and high sideline), but large rear-view mirrors and rear view will help you get to the place on "stationary" asphalt without bumps. With such a controllable Qashqai, you should forget about the mud, more difficult climbs and descents on weekends. This is an urban SUV that also wants to be a limousine, but real minivans just laugh at it. The main reasons are in the trunk, which is otherwise well endowed with a base 352 liters, but compared to (say) the Golf does not stand out.

The Qashqai rear seat cannot be longitudinally moved or removed, and interior flexibility begins and ends when the backrest is folded into a 60:40 split rear bench seat. The trunk is less ready due to the high loading height (770 millimeters) and the lip (120 millimeters), and many will also like the not very high opening of the tailgate. If you are three-quarters taller than a meter, be careful or keep an ice cube in your bag. Otherwise, the trunk has several places for securing cargo, and the trunk itself is exemplary in circulation.

In terms of usability, Qashqai is even closer to vans (or limousine vans, not vans!) And limousines. The interior is dominated by materials that are pleasant to the eye and to the touch. The impression that the dashboard makes in terms of ergonomics is good. The buttons are in the right places and are also large enough, only the control buttons for the automatic air conditioner are a little small. It also squeaks a little when the (electric) rearview mirror buttons are not illuminated.

The buttons on the steering wheel of the cruise control, radio and car phone (connecting a mobile phone to a blue-toothed radio) take some getting used to, and there are relatively few useful storage spaces. If you fill the space for cans between the seats with a drink, you will only be able to store small items in two places: in the door or in the closed opening in the middle of the seats. The front saloon is offered as a third option. There is nothing to quickly get rid of small things in the form of a mobile phone, a paid ABC card, a wallet, keys, candy ...

The front seats are shell-shaped with just enough lateral support to keep the body in place. The back can quickly go beyond the knee space, and the head even earlier. If children and adults of average height sit in the back, there will be no problems, and any taller passenger in the back seat will be cramped. Inside, we were concerned about the level of workmanship, which is exemplary, but its rating was downgraded by a slightly deflected rear seat sill. An oversight that we did not notice anywhere.

Power-assisted electric power steering provides satisfactory response and feedback. The stiffer suspension (the Qashqai isn't soggy though) puts the soft front seats to the fore even more as they dampen most of the vibrations emitted into the cab by the tough but not French soft (Renault Nissan) chassis. ... Because of the taller body position, which also means a higher center of gravity, the Qashqai is clearly less cornering than most (“off-road”) competitors, but still surprisingly good.

The body tilts a little, the sensitivity to crosswinds is also increased, but the wheels remain on the intended trajectory. However, the existence of physics is first reported by the rear end, which becomes heavy and, as you would expect, begins to slide in the opposite direction. The test Qashqai still had winter tires and had quite a few measurement problems. It is worth noting the bad braking distance (as much as 50 meters)! The winter tire test also showed occasional problems with the transmission of the 1-liter gasoline engine's power to the ground.

With a heavier pressure on the accelerator pedal (which is sometimes required when entering traffic), the drive pair of wheels easily switches to neutral, especially on sliding surfaces. Any anti-skid system would be great, but we look forward to the next test, when summer tires are already on the Qashqai. The power of the 114-liter petrol engine (6.000 hp at 1 rpm) was transmitted through a five-speed manual transmission. The gearbox is not the best.

That's for sure, but for a smooth shift without (especially in the morning) hardness, you will need to move to some other piece of sheet metal. The Qashqai's gear lever is particularly disliked by quick shifting, and most of the time on the right it feels like the lever is about to get stuck. And no. For city streets and countryside, a combination of an engine that loves to spin and is ready to respond to commands from the accelerator pedal, and a gearbox with short gear ratios is created. The engine may not be as lively as you'd expect (you won't benefit from intersection to intersection), but given the Qashqai's enormous weight (almost 1 tonne without passengers), the view will be better sooner or later.

The downside of the engine, which is also to blame for the drivetrain, manifests itself in longer trips. On the highway, at a speed of about 130 kilometers per hour, the crankshaft speedometer shows the number four (in thousands), and fuel consumption and engine noise begin to rise. In our test, fuel consumption in most cases exceeded nine liters (per 100 kilometers), which is quite a lot for an engine of this size. No, we didn't chase with him!

The test Qashqai named Tekna upgrades the already rich base equipment of Visia (driver and front passenger airbags, side and curtain airbags, Isofix, power windows, steering wheel with adjustable height and depth, manual air conditioning, Bluetooth, audio system for steering wheel control buttons.system and on-board computer, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, remote central locking, on-board computer) with cruise control, leather steering wheel and leather shift lever, front fog lamps and electrically folding rear-view mirrors ...

Rather than driving in less reputable terrain (4 x 4), this Kash-kai (do we already know?) Bets on flirting with customers who want to be different. Those who have enough typical representatives of frame car classes. Most often they will take you to the backyard of this town of Rambot. Almost without the growing popularity (extra for asphalt) SUV lipstick.

Overall rating (315/420)

  • The Qashqai is a compromise vehicle, so you can expect naked-eye off-road performance that you can see with the naked eye, and the limousine van features end up knocking the rear bench off. It is even closer to limousines, but with worse driving characteristics, which is mainly due to a higher center of gravity. Choose a more powerful engine.

  • Exterior (13/15)

It looks like a real city SUV that is attracting many buyers with its growing SUV sales.

  • Interior (108/140)

There is relatively ample space in the front, while in the back it quickly ends up for tall passengers. The medium-sized barrel has a fairly high rim and is practically inflexible.

  • Engine, transmission (30

    / 40)

The gearbox does not like fast shifting. I would also like the sixth gear. The engine would be perfect for any lower, lighter car.

  • Driving performance (70

    / 95)

It is more agile than its appearance promises. It's the same with driving position, but the long stopping distances are disappointing.

  • Performance (28/35)

The motor is flexible, it also provides stable top speed and acceleration, but the Qashqai will be better with a more powerful motor.

  • Security (35/45)

Lots of airbags, poor braking distances (with winter tires) and the fact that this engine doesn't have ESP even at an extra cost.

  • Economy

Good warranty, fuel consumption increases rapidly with more vigorous driving. Diesels keep the price better.
