Nissan Townstar. New in the light commercial vehicle segment
Nissan is introducing its next generation compact light commercial vehicle (LCV): the Townstar. Nissan's new line of light commercial vehicles, along with the all-electric Townstar model, is designed to prepare companies for upcoming changes and related regulations, and to accelerate the development of zero-emission vehicles.
The car will be the brand's first model in Europe with the new Nissan logo. It was created on CMF-CD parquet.
The petrol version will be offered with a 1,3-litre engine that fully complies with the latest emission regulations (Euro 6d). This unit produces 130 hp. and 240 Nm of torque.
The electric Townstar, in turn, will be equipped with a 44 kWh battery pack and advanced technological solutions such as intelligent energy management and an efficient battery cooling system. The new commercial vehicle will replace Nissan's e-NV200 range with 245Nm of torque and a range of 285km (to be confirmed upon approval).

With numerous safety features and advanced driver assistance features such as Crosswind Assist and Trailer Sway Assist, the new Townstar will provide you with a safe and comfortable driving experience. Intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection and intersection maneuvering, as well as automatic parking and intelligent cruise control, will make the Townstar a leader in its category.
Nissan will introduce the Around View Monitor (AVM) camera system for the first time in the compact commercial vehicle segment, helping to popularize this advanced technology. Using a set of well-placed cameras, the system displays a complete image around the car, providing the driver with the comfort of worry-free parking in urban areas.
Customers choosing the Townstar electric model will also benefit from the innovative ProPILOT Advanced Driver Assistance System. Helping the driver on the motorway, this feature provides automatic braking to a standstill and acceleration to follow the vehicle in front and keep the vehicle in the center of the lane, even on gentle curves.
Convenient call handling features (eCall, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto) and wireless phone charging will be available on all versions from launch. In turn, extensive connectivity services will be available with the debut of the all-electric version.
These services in the electric Nissan Townstar will be displayed on an 8-inch touchscreen connected to a 10-inch digital instrument cluster in front of the driver.
