Nissan X-Trail Tekna 2.0 177 CVT – Road Test
Pagella
The Nissan X-Trail rides well on the road and is arguably even better off-road. Restyling has made it more modern and technologically advanced, especially inside. There's plenty of room too (when the seats are lowered, it becomes a seven-seater), but the inaccurate steering and CVT gearbox (which has the effect of a scooter) spoil the driving experience a little.
La Nissan X-Trail gets a facelift and brings with it many small innovations. Nissan's SUV is largely being updated to mimic the look of its Qashqai sister and grow by 5cm.
There is really a lot of space on board: 5 seats that can be turned into 7, one 565-liter trunk which can become almost 2.000 if you "smash everything" and a spacious cabin full of compartments.
In addition, there is a smaller and sportier steering wheel, new materials that are more beautiful to look and feel; new options such as Bose Premium with 8 speakers, DAB radio and 7-inch touchscreen; and new safety systems such as rear cross-traffic alert and ProPilot (coming in 2018), which brings with it some elements of autonomous driving.
Our test version is the most powerful 2.0 diesel 177 hp с four-wheel drive and first-class equipment Tekna.
CITY
Despite the size Nissan X-Trail the city is comfortable and at ease. Engine 2.0 177 hp turbodiesel it has high torque and is quite quiet, and also matches well with the CVT automatic transmission (optional). IN Switch variator he is, as always, very sweet and makes driving smooth; it can also "mimic" the gears of a normal gearbox, but there is still a lot of slip and slip.
IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
La Nissan X-Trail it is longer and taller than its sister Qashqai (with whom it shares a chassis) and it feels on the road. It is less maneuverable and more uncomfortable in turns, but more comfortable and softer in the pits when driving in a relaxed manner. Well, the engine instead: strong and powerful enough carry almost 1800 kg of a car. IN mixed consumption claimed 18,8 km / l, but it is more realistic to expect a consumption of 15-16 km / l, which is still very good for this type of car.
шосе
On the highway Nissan X-Trail travel safely and quietly 130 km / h at an engine speed of 2250 rpm... Corresponding consumption: the company claims an average of about 16 km / l on the freeway, while we were able to do 12 km / l.
Unfortunately, there is no adaptive cruise control.
LIFE ON BOARD
Interiors Nissan X-Trail 2.0 dCi 4WD Xtronic CVT they are well made and rational. IN the seats are comfortable and well adjustable, while the place is really generous. If you wish, you can fold the seats and get two more, even if they are improvised. Thus, the restyled version has a more modern look (smaller and sportier steering wheel, new screen and new inserts), but still there are some sloppy details that conflict with the overall quality.
Excellent however The trunk is 565 liters.
PRICE AND EXPENSES
La Nissan X-Trail has a starting price 29.850 euro; version Tekna our test with a 2.0 dCi engine and four-wheel drive is instead worth 39.440 euro.
The Tekna version comes standard with everything you need and more: parking sensors, LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, dual-zone climate, cruise control, a 5-inch infotainment system and more.
SECURITY
La Nissan X-Trail it has adequate braking and is stable in all conditions. The all-wheel drive is also very efficient on snow and on the slippery surfaces.
