Niu M1: electric scooter for less than 2000 euros

Considered the little brother of the N1S, the Niu M1 was announced at the start of the school year for less than € 2000.

Awarded the renowned Red Dot Design Award in the vehicle category, the Niu M1 is an electric scooter equivalent to 50cc, with a rather handsome face. Powered by a detachable 48 V, 26 kg, 8.3 Ah LG battery, the battery will provide an autonomy of 60 to 70 km. For larger riders, a second battery configuration is available with a 32 Ah battery, which extends the range to 70-80 km.

On the motor side, Nu has again turned to Bosch with an 800 W motor delivering up to 95 Nm of torque and an adjustable top speed of 45 km / h. For a more noticeable relief, there is also a 1200 W 110 Nm motor in the catalog.

Intended for city use, the Niu M1 will launch in September for less than 2000 euros. To be continued…
