Niu launches two electric scooters for the European market

The Niu N-GT and M + electric scooters, specially designed for the European market, will be available for pre-order from the end of June.

If Niu electric scooters are already widely represented on the streets of large Chinese cities, the brand has not bypassed Europe either. Together with Bosch, Panasonic and Vodafone Niu has developed a range of two models specially designed to meet the needs of European consumers.

The Niu NG-T, sold for 3.999 euros, is powered by a 3 kW Bosch engine and offers a top speed of 70 km / h. It is powered by two 60 V 35 Ah (2.1 kWh) lithium-ion batteries, which can be removed and recharged in 3 hours 30 minutes, and can operate autonomously up to 130 kilometers.

The more affordable Niu M+ sells for €2299 and is in the 50cc equivalent category. See Powered by a 1200W Bosch motor, it provides a top speed of up to 45 km/h and can accommodate up to two passengers. As for the battery, the scooter uses a 48V-42Ah (2kWh) unit, providing more than 100 kilometers of battery life.
