A joint commission consisting of representatives of the government and local self-government bodies gave a positive opinion on the draft resolution prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Administration, which changes the scale of penalty points. There are many new proposals.

For example, a driver will receive 5 points for calling a cell phone or parking in a handicapped spot. However, 10 will go to his account when he overtakes another vehicle at the crosswalk.

The draft resolution is currently awaiting signing. Minister Jerzy Miller. The new law will enter into force 30 days after its publication in the Bulletin of Laws. It will probably happen in November.
