If anyone is still in doubt about which market segments are currently the most popular, just look at the list of new products planned for next year. By far, the largest number of new models will appear in the segment of SUVs and crossovers.
If someone wants a novelty from the compact SUV segment that has been popular in recent years and does not want to wait too long, you can upgrade to the fourth generation in January. Kii Sportagewhich was presented in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new Sportage features a completely new design, more modern equipment and a sporty GT version with a 1,6-liter supercharged unit with 177 hp. The second of Kia's new products for next year in the compact crossover segment follows even more modern trends. Kia Niro (although we're still waiting for name confirmation), which will hit the market in August, will be a hybrid and a plug-in version is also planned, though probably not next year. In October, we will see a slightly updated market debut. Key Soul with new systems and 1.6 T-GDi engine. While still in the Korean concern, it is worth mentioning the May debut Hyundai Grand Santa Fe after the facelift, and in April the proposal of a new Hyundai Tucson will be complemented by a 140-horsepower 1.7 diesel with a seven-speed gearbox.
Toyota kicks off offensive next year in February with updated premiere Toyota RAV4. There will not be many changes here, the biggest of them will be the new version of the engine - Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, which will appear on the Polish market at the turn of March and April. The gasoline engine will be assisted by two electric motors. Like Kia, Toyota also intends to attack the compact crossover segment. Toyota CHR, still in concept form, was presented this year at the Frankfurt fair, and will go on sale at the turn of the third and fourth quarters of 2016. Of course it will be a hybrid.
The second generation will be the most important novelty in Volkswagen showrooms Volkswagen Tiguan. This model has already been presented in Frankfurt, and it should appear on the Polish market in May. It will be larger than its predecessor, definitely more technologically advanced, and stylistically even more similar to the Golf or Passat. Not before, becauseVolkswagen Caddy Alltrack. The second generation Ford Edge, a mid-size SUV, will hit the European market for the first time, including Poland. The offer of the competition from abroad next year will be a little more modest. It will appear in February BMW X4 M40i, which will be driven by a 3-liter 6-cylinder engine with 360 hp. and a maximum torque of 465 Nm.
