Novelties of the Polish military automotive market in 2016

Tatra and its partners are promoting in Poland, among other things, a complete engineering support system AM-50EKS with elements of a satellite bridge.

In the case of deliveries to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland of trucks of medium and heavy-duty class, i.e. with a maximum permissible weight of more than six tons, several suppliers have been calculating for many years.

At present, this mainly concerns Volvo Group Government Sales (VGGS) with its subsidiaries Renault Trucks Defense and Volvo Defense. Added to this is the modernization of the Starów 266 by Autobox Sp. z oo and PPHU StarSanDuo, as well as component and enclosure suppliers. Of the latter, the following companies are worth mentioning: Tezana Sp. z oo, providing among other things Iveco – CNH engines Industrial and automatic transmissions Allison and Szczęśniak Pojazdy SpecjSp. z oo, Zamet Głowno Sp. Schensniak PS and Tatra

The manufacturer of specialized and specialized bodies, primarily for the fire brigade, from Bielsko-Biala, has been successfully cooperating with the Czech Tatra for several years in various projects, including on the international market. Among others, as a subcontractor, by order of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, he manufactured a heavy wheeled evacuation and technical vehicle KWZT-3, under a contract for five such vehicles, concluded in 2015.

In turn, Tatra has already independently promoted in Poland, in particular, the Tatra AM-50 EX Model, i.e. chassis T815 - 7T3R41 8 × 8.1R from the Force hybrid family with elements of a companion bridge. This kit was created as a result of cooperation between Tatry and the Slovak company ZTS VVÚ KOŠICE, as The carrier used is a 4-axle variant with a long unarmored military-type cab, only single tires 16.00R20 and so-called.
