For the start of the motorcycle season, Philips Automotive offers 4 lamp models: Premium, ExtraDuty, MotoVision and the latest model in this group, XP Moto.
The new XP Moto model provides up to 80 percent of the light compared to a conventional light bulb. more lights in the foreground, i.e. 50-75 meters in front of the car. The special composition of the gas and the correct pressure guarantee motorcyclists racing performance and maximum lamp life. Technologically, the model is an analogue of a Philips car light bulb with the lighting parameters necessary for car racing. The luminous flux of the lamp is increased to 25 meters, which provides excellent visibility and safety. The XP Moto features an advanced filament designed to produce a beam of light that is as accurate as a laser. The lamp has a chrome-plated cap, and its socket is additionally coated with palladium.

With the safety of motorcyclists in mind, Philips developed the MotoVision. The flask glows with a delicate yellow-orange tint, which was obtained by coating the glass flask with an appropriate light filter. As a result, the motorcycle is more visible to other road users. In addition, MotoVison provides 40 percent. more white light compared to the standard model, and the light beam is 10-20 meters longer.
For motorcyclists who value durability, Philips offers the ExtraDuty lamp. The lamp has a reinforced filament, which makes it more resistant to shock caused by driving on paved roads, sidewalk parking, frequent acceleration and braking. A strong impact each time damages the light bulb while reducing its durability. ExtraDuty provides impact resistance up to 20 G.
– The light bulb has additional twisted-pair mounting brackets that prevent it from breaking. The reinforced filament is made from a more flexible tungsten wire blend,” comments Jaroslav Kaflak, expert at Philips Automotive.
