The new Lotus Evora 410 may be easier to live on the road, but it still packs 305 kW of power.

Lotus has unveiled its new Evora GT410 overseas, a milder version of the GT410 Sport, and the brand's local division is exploring its potential for introduction in Australia.

Cars Guide understands that the local Evora GT410 Sport - the only variant available in Australia - is different from its international counterpart and is already offering a number of specification changes announced for the GT410.

According to Lotus, the new GT410 is "destined to be a more comfortable 'everyday' car" with redesigned damper speeds that "create a smoother ride for real comfort", although the brand still promises "outstanding performance". oriented experience.

Other changes include built-in armrests and door card storage, improved interior soundproofing, a tailgate with a new glass insert for improved visibility, a rearview camera and air conditioning - the latter already standard on Australian-made Evoras. .

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all-season tires are also mounted on staggered 19-inch and 20-inch wheels front and rear.

However, on the GT410 and GT410 Sport trims, Lotus added Sparco sport seats and a full-featured multimedia system with sat-nav, digital radio and Apple CarPlay.

Both Evoras are powered by a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that develops 305kW of power and 410Nm of torque.

In the UK, the GT410 is £3000 ($5795) below the GT85,900 Sport at £165,921 ($410) but in Australia the latter is $179,990 with a manual transmission and $181,990 with an automatic gearbox.
