Porsche will present the new 911 Turbo (7th generation) in September - the premiere will take place at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt, but the secret is revealed before that. In addition to the new engine, the offer also includes a PDK dual-clutch transmission (Volkswagen's DSG equivalent), and the new model should be more dynamic, durable, light, fast and economical.

Sporty performance is provided by the seventh generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo with a new 6 hp 3,8-litre boxer engine. (500 kW). This is the first motorcycle in its 368-year history, completely redesigned. It features direct petrol injection and dual supercharging with variable vane geometry turbocharger. For the first time, the Porsche Carrera's seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) is available as an option for the Turbo. In addition, the improved Variable All-Wheel Drive (PTM) and Porsche Stability Management (equivalent to PSM, ESC/ESP, etc.) can optionally be combined with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), which significantly improves steering agility and precision (drive interference). on the rear axle).

According to Porsche, the 911 Turbo with Sport Chrono Package and PDK transmission accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,4 seconds (predecessor 3,7/3,9 s) and a top speed of 312 km/h (predecessor 310 km/h). ./h). For the outstanding PDK dual-clutch transmission, a three-spoke sports steering wheel with fixed paddle shifters (right up, left down) is available as an option. In combination with the optional Sport Chrono Package, both steering wheels have integrated Launch Control and Sport/Sport Plus mode indicators (different in appearance).

The official sale of the 7 Turbo 911 generation will start in Poland on November 21, 2009. The base versions of the coupe and convertible will cost the equivalent of 178 and 784 euros, respectively. Of course, Sport Chrono, PDK, PTV, etc. require a surcharge.
