New Call for Applications for Electric Vehicle Subsidy "Scheduled for End of 2021 / XNUMX Quarter XNUMX"
One of our readers, who signed up for a previous electric car subsidy scheme but did not take advantage of it, received interesting news from the National Fund for the Environment and Water Management. It shows that subsidies for electric vehicles should begin at the turn of June and July 2021, that is, about a year after the start of the first call for proposals.
Another call for applications for an electrician subsidy in 2,5 months?
From the email received by our reader, we learn that recruitment for the “new priority program” is scheduled for late 2021 / XNUMX quarter. and it acceptance of applications will be carried out on an ongoing basis in 2021-2025 until the quotas are exhausted. The first information looks logical (starting from the anniversary), and the second is intriguing, so it's worth explaining. Well, the previous intake of applications was "continuous", but this "continuity" concerned a strictly defined period of time (June 26 - July 31). “Continuity” here is the opposite of a call for proposals, in which the authors of the best proposals receive funding.
The agreements under the previous program could have been signed before June 30, 2021. new acceptance of applications could so take off July 1st... Or, more generally, in July 2021. We add that we write all this in the subjunctive mood, because the last program was repeatedly postponed.
Another change was announced in the message. Well, maybe it will disappear from the new version of the program the requirement to travel at least 10 XNUMX kilometers per year... It has previously been used to meet carbon reduction targets. The order sounded ridiculous, but it made sense. What will appear now? We do not know.
Our reader finally noticed that the pp_zielony_samochod.pdf document (see HERE) has been changed. Clause 7.3.1.n appeared there:
in the absence of the possibility of creating security in the form of assignment of rights under the third party liability insurance policy and the comprehensive liability insurance policy referred to in paragraph (a). j) in justified cases, it is permitted to pay the subsidy after the expiry date specified in clause (a). i) without the need to create a security.
In other words: if we cannot transfer the insurance to the National Environment and Water Fund - we are talking about the possibility of recovering a subsidy in case of damage or theft of a car - The fund can conditionally pay us money after two years of car operation.... That is, after a period of forced use.
When applying for subsidies for electric vehicles in 2020, we had to deal with three parallel programs. Individuals can apply for funding in the amount of 15 percent of the purchase price of an electric vehicle, that is, a maximum of 18 PLN with a maximum price of 750 PLN.
