The most common car fuel tank sizes are 40, 50, 60 and 70 liters. Judging by the volume of the tank, you can tell how big this car is. In the case of a 30-liter tank, we are most likely talking about a runabout. 50-60 liters is a sign of a strong average. And 70 - indicates a full-size car.
The volume of the fuel tank would be useless if not for the fuel consumption. Knowing the average fuel consumption, you can easily calculate how many kilometers a full tank of fuel will be enough for you. On-board computers of modern cars are able to show the driver this information promptly.
