Maintenance and care of the digital thermometer
Cleaning | ||
The thermometer probe should be wiped clean after each use. Water and mild detergent can be used, but the thermometer must not be immersed in water.
Service | ||
When storing, always use the probe cap, if provided. This keeps the sensor clean and prolongs the life of the thermometer.
Some digital thermometers cannot be replaced with a battery; in this case, as soon as the thermometer stops working, it will need to be replaced. However, there are varieties in which the battery can be replaced. Digital thermometers are usually equipped with coin-cell batteries (see individual model descriptions for specifications).
Storage | ||
The digital thermometer can be stored in any cool, dry place. |
