2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Review: Quadrifoglio Snapshot

King of the Giulia range returns the Quadrifoglio, designed to compete with the likes of the BMW M3, Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS5 Sportback.

To keep pace with Germany's top models, Alfa Romeo has equipped the Quadrifoglio with a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 375 kW/600 Nm.

Powered by rear-wheel drive via an eight-speed automatic transmission, the top-notch Giulia sprints to 0 km/h in just 100 seconds, and its perfect 3.9/50 weight balance also means it can handle itself when the road gets twisty.

In addition to the three driving modes standard on all Giulias, the Quadrifoglio gets a "Race" mode that provides maximum attack on the track.

Inside, a mix of aluminium, carbon fibre, leather and Alcantara on the dash and trim, while a premium audio system also comes standard.

On the outside, you can tell the Quadrifoglio apart from its siblings thanks to its twin tailpipes, larger brakes and hood, roof, side skirts and carbon fiber rear spoiler.

Prices for the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio have actually dropped from $6950 to $138,950 before travel expenses.
