2017 Ferrari California T review: head spinning

Nikki Cousins and Peter Anderson road test and review the 2016 Ferrari California T with performance, fuel economy and verdict.

Convertible twin-turbo V8s don't usually have four seats and enough trunk space to fit your groceries, but when they do, the Torquing Heads team jumps into action. This dash gets even more enthusiastic than usual when it's revealed to be a $408,000 (and up) Ferrari California T.

The second generation California has a new engine, a lot of new stuff, and as buyers flock to it from all over the world, there are plenty of new options available. The California we stumbled upon went through the brand's Tailor Made program. On top of the $30,000 "standard" options, the Tailor Made add-ons added another $50,000 to the price.

After living with the California T, Peter longs to find out if it's really the "soft" Ferrari that many of his colleagues say, and Nikki wonders how many of her children she'll have to sell to make him her own.
