Review of Kia Sportage GT-Line 2022: photo

The GT-Line sits at the top of the Sportage lineup with a starting price of $49,370 for the 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol variant before moving on to the 2.0-litre diesel version for $52,370.

The GT-Line comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, curved 12.3-inch multimedia screens for media and instrument control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite navigation, dual-zone climate control, eight Harman Kardon speakers. stereo system, heated front seats, privacy glass and proximity key, leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, LED headlights and LED running lights.

The GT-Line comes with a new 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (replacing the 2.4-litre petrol) with 132kW/265Nm and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel with 137kW/416Nm found in the old Sportage.

The Sportage has not yet received an ANCAP crash rating and we will let you know when it is announced.

All classes have AEB that can detect cyclists and pedestrians even at interchanges, there's lane departure warning and lane keep assist, rear cross traffic warning with braking, and blind spot warning.
