Lexus ES300h Luxury review with EP 2021: snapshot

The Lexus ES is available in one model, a petrol-electric hybrid called the 300h. But there are three classes, and Luxury is the entry point, costing $62,525.

The Luxury comes standard with a 12.3-inch media screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite navigation, a 10-speaker Pioneer stereo system, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, heated and power front seats, LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Lexus 300h received a five-star ANCAP rating when it was rated in 2018. Standard safety equipment includes AEB with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning and traffic sign assist.

The ES 300h is equipped with a hybrid drivetrain consisting of a 131kW/221Nm four-cylinder petrol engine and an 88kW/202Nm electric motor.

Lexus says that after a combination of open and city roads, fuel economy should be 4.8 l/100 km.
